Robert (Bob) attended Bablake School Coventry (1960 to 1968) and obtained a degree in Physics at Queen Mary College London (1972). After two years with British Telecom I spent the next 30 years at the Bank of England working in Computing, telecommunications and IT Security. I now work for the National Health Service (www.selssp.nhs.uk) and run my own IT company: Croydon-IT. We live in Addiscombe a "village" in Croydon about 12 miles south of the centre of London. I am a life member of the National Trust, Bluebell and West Somerset Railway Associations. Avril (my wife) hates computers, and is now using one to complete an MSc! [She is one of those who objected to the inclusion of personal data.] As a family we have enjoyed annual holidays near Porlock in
West Somerset, where we all rode together on Exmoor. Ben attended Archbishop Tenison's School, Croydon and then took a BTEC in performing Arts at Croydon College. Ben enjoys the drums and has played several "gigs" in London and the US with his band "5th Man Down". He is at Rose Bruford College after working in retail for several years. He now lives in West Croydon. Giles also attended Archbishop Tenison's School and after Croydon College obtained a BA in Graphic Art & Design New Media from the Surrey Institute of Art and Design. He is an ardent SK8ter and has his own WEB site. |
